So what is counselling?

We all have times in life when we find it hard to cope. Sometimes we have a lack of understanding about what is happening to us. We may feel anxious, desperate or very alone.
Having someone to talk to can lighten the load and make things seem more manageble.
I will provide a safe space for you to bring what you need to to the sessions.
I will listen to you in a non- judgemental way and together we can try to make sense of your experiences and feelings.
Sometimes this involves distinguishing patterns from the past and finding links to what is happening in the present
I believe in working towards you developing a deeper, more fulfilling relationship with yourself.

Cost
I charge £40.00 for a fifty minute session.
It is important that you are able to feel comfortable and relaxed with the counsellor that you choose.
We can meet for an initial assessment so that you can get a feel for what our sessions might be like. If we feel we could work together we can arrange a time to meet on a weekly basis
